Tallgrass Joins Forces with the VFW of Colorado to Support Veterans this Holiday Season
Join Tallgrass in supporting the VFW of Colorado this holiday season by delivering food, toys, and financial donations for the 15th Annual Ron Davies Memorial VFW Airlift.
Lakewood-based energy infrastructure company, Tallgrass, is joining the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Department of Colorado to deliver food and toys to veterans and military families in need across our state as a part of the 15th Annual Ron Davies Memorial VFW Airlift..png?language_id=1)
Each year, the Airlift gathers donated toys and nonperishable food items and transports them to veterans across Colorado, with flights provided by volunteer pilots from Metropolitan State University in Denver. With seven major military installations and nearly 350,000 veterans calling Colorado home, this year’s Airlift offers a meaningful opportunity for Coloradans to support those who have given so much to our country.
“As a member of VFW Post 1 right here in Denver, I’m proud of the work we’re doing at Tallgrass to support veterans and military families this holiday season,” said Steven Davidson, vice president of government and public affairs at Tallgrass.
Those interested in participating can visit VFWCO.org to find a list of participating drop-off locations or make an online financial contribution toward the effort.

- Toys: New, unwrapped gifts that brighten the holidays for children of veteran families.
- Food: Non-perishable items like canned goods, pasta, and staples that fill kitchens across Colorado.
- Financial: 100% of your donation goes directly to support the Airlift’s food, toys, gift boxes, and fuel for the volunteer pilots. Financial donations may be made online at the VFWCO website.
